![]() My roots are in arts & entertainment, having begun my career working for Canadian music industry pioneers Paul Mercs and Sam Feldman and later joining the Vancouver Organizing Committee of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in 2008 as part of the Cultural Olympiad team.
After the games, I turned my focus to business, technology and sustainable growth, working with the B.C. Innovation Council and subsequently with LIFT Philanthropy Partners, a Vancouver-based venture philanthropy group supporting not-for-profit organizations. When I branched out in 2013 to be an independent contractor and started my micro business, Call the Bouch, I found myself involved with the Women in Biz Network, a national organization dedicated to professional and entrepreneurial development for a vast network of digital influencers. In this work, I have coordinated events and conferences where hundreds of women unite to learn and collaborate. Under Call the Bouch, I have also coordinated and executed various client projects, both project- and graphic design- based, for a number of Vancouver Clinical Counsellors, LIFT Philanthropy Partners and Coastal Sound Music Academy, to name a few. Born and raised in Nova Scotia, I moved to the West Coast in 1998, and have been a student of Women’s Studies and Psychology at Langara College, and am currently completing my Certificate of Graphic Design at BCIT. In the fall of 2016, my husband and I left the coast for the beautiful north Okanagan Valley, specifically Vernon, BC. I love music, reading, yoga, hiking with my dogs Dexter and Daisy, and am committed to a life of learning, growth and collaboration. |
